HYUR Manufacturing is seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler for our partner in Monroe, OH!
The anticipated wage for this position starts at $16/hour. Hourly wages may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Summary of position:
As a Material Handler, you are responsible for pulling inventory for shipments using pallet jacks, packing, and inputting information into the computer for shipping and inventory tracking purposes.
Essential Functions:
- Pick orders from inventory for shipment.
- Works within & according to all company health & safety guidelines.
- Ensures the accuracy of inventory quantities.
- Evaluates materials and products to quality standards before issuing.
- Reports issues immediately to Team Leader.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Uses effective communication skills between colleagues and inventory Manager.
- Assist other departments when needed.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience and Qualifications:
- Willingness to be trained.
- Ability to operate standard pallet jack.
- Possesses strong attention to detail abilities.
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attendance & work history
- Possesses basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate either verbally or electronically.
- Is self-driven and safety minded.
