HYUR Manufacturing is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Tech for our partner in Erlanger, KY!
The anticipated wage for this position starts at $25 – $32. Hourly wages may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Summary of position:
As the Maintenance Tech you are responsible for performing daily and scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to the CNC equipment and plant facilities.
Essential Functions:
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of CNC equipment and other production equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts; checking/replacing fluid; replacing filters.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them using blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary.
- Identify and replace parts, as necessary.
- Work with machine suppliers to assist with troubleshooting when necessary.
- Perform facility maintenance.
- Other tasks as required.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training course completion is a plus.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Understand and follow electrical schematics.
- Basic knowledge of CNC machines: spindles, ball screws, bearings, scales.
- Ability to read and interpret machine manuals and documentation.
- Capable of using precision measurement and standard hand/power tools.
- Previous industrial maintenance experience
- Experience with CNC controls.
