HYUR Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator for our partner in Lebanon, OH!
The anticipated wage for this position starts at $25 – $30 plus a 20% shift diff. Hourly wages may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Summary of position:
As a CNC Machine Operator, you are responsible for reading blueprints and drawings to set up machines based on specification. Accurately operate various CNC production machines, be able to comprehend product design into computer modelling software and use computer software to create the design of parts and tools.
Essential Functions:
- Processes parts by following blueprints and other specifications.
- Proficiently meets scheduled router hours.
- Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools to perform operations.
- Maintain and check cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
- Change tool offsets to produce parts meeting drawing specifications.
- Perform process inspections to drawing specification.
- Read precision measurement equipment in both inch and metric increments.
- Check for malfunctions or out-of-tolerance processing.
- Adjust machine controls as required.
- Ensure that equipment is in optimal production condition.
- Edit programs.
- Run multiple machines simultaneously.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training course completion is a plus.
Experience:
- Blueprint and plan reading.
- CNC G&M code
- Knowledge of standard tools, materials, methods.
- Operate forklift and overhead crane.
- Precision measurement tools
