HYUR Manufacturing is seeking a 1st Shift CNC Machine Operator for our partner in Erlanger, KY!
The anticipated wage for this position starts at $18.00- $26.00. Hourly wages may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Summary of position:
As a CNC Machine Operator, you are responsible for reading blueprints and drawings to set up machines based on specification. Accurately set up and operate CNC mill and lathe machines and document set up information.
Essential Functions:
- Set-up and operation of CNC machines (Mills & Lathes)
- Document set up information.
- Processes parts by following blueprints and other specifications.
- Inspect and document quality of all parts manufactured.
- Diagnose and correct machine problems with minimal supervision.
- Perform daily maintenance.
- Keep machine and work area clean.
- Maintain good production numbers with minimal scrap.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Frequent bending, reaching and heavy lifting is required.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training course completion is a plus.
Experience and Qualifications:
- High mechanical background
- CNC Mill and/or Lathe experience.
- Quality measurement tools
- Blueprint reading.
- Ability to use various hand and power tools.
- Automotive mechanic background
- Previous experience in a machine shop
