HYUR Manufacturing is seeking 2nd shift Aerospace Assembly Techs for our partner in Hebron, KY!
The anticipated wage for this position starts at $17 plus a 10% shift diff! Hourly wages may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Summary of position:
As an Aerospace Assembly Tech you are responsible for performing mechanical assembly on aerospace parts, as well as other duties assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Mechanically assemble custom aerospace parts from aerospace drawings/blueprints
- Perform quality inspection using micrometers and calipers.
- Marking and deburring parts
- Operate various machines including tumblers, grinders, drills, rivet guns, etc.
- Tac welding
- Sand blasting.
- Assisting in Laser & Brake press departments
- Material handling and loading parts.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Experience:
- High mechanical aptitude or mechanical assembly
- Attention to very small details.
- Grinding/deburring
- Precision measurement tools or hand and power tools
- Reading blueprints
- Spot welding
- Operating machines
- Familiar with material handling/parts flow
