HYUR Manufacturing is seeking 1st Shift Highly Skilled Level III Welders that are ready to jump in right away for our partner in Fairfield, OH!
The anticipated wage for this position starts at $22 – $30/hour. Hourly wages may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Summary of position:
As a Level III Welder, you are responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other materials by applying appropriate welding techniques.
Essential Functions:
- Generate and complete quality welds.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process.
- Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
- Responsible for preparing the materials and setting up a welding device.
- Performs visual quality checks and takes appropriate action to correct defects.
- Performs basic dimensional layouts to complete products without fixtures.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Precision measurement tools experience
- Understanding of weld symbols
- Perform dimensional interpretations.
- Capable of weld base metals with some aluminum
- Troubleshooting machine and fit up issues.
- Identify basic welding defects.
- Achieve 75% or higher on written test.
- Ability to pass Guild certification.
