HYUR Manufacturing is seeking a 3rd Shift Stamp Press Operator for our partner in Cincinnati, OH!
The anticipated wage for this position ranges between $18 – $20/hour (with a $4 Shift Diff). Hourly wages may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Summary of position:
As a Stamp Press Operator, you are responsible for setting up, operating, or tending machines to inspect, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.
Essential Functions:
- Setup and operator Stamping Presses using Standard Work Procedures, work instructions, and machine-controlled software.
- Simultaneously run a minimum of two primary machines
- Responsible for the quality and quantity of products being manufactured.
- Perform all material handling duties required to keep a job productive.
- Safely retrieve materials and return the unused coil/wire stock to the storage areas using an electric handcart or fork truck.
- Proficiently use measuring devices.
- Perform other duties in different departments.
- Understand basic shop math including knowledge of fraction decimal equivalents
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
- Min. 2 years of operating a Stamping Press
- Setting tonnage and set ups.
- Quality measurement tools
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Blueprint reading.
- High paced work environment
