HYUR Manufacturing is seeking a 1st Shift Experienced Assembler for our partner in Cincinnati, OH!
The anticipated wage for this position starts at $17 – $19. Hourly wages may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Summary of position:
As an Experience Assembler, you are responsible for assembling and installing material kits according to customer specifications. The role involves working with various hand tools, following standard safety practices, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Essential Functions:
- Interpret and execute build requirements from approved prints and work instructions.
- Operate equipment, instrumentation, machines, and tools required for the role.
- Accurately measure and assemble facility product line components.
- Report safety, quality, and manufacturing issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure high standards of quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform mechanical assembly of small and large components within the manufacturing field.
- Assemble equipment for scanning semi-trucks at checkpoints and borders.
- Cut and glue materials onto metal doors.
- Utilize various hand, power, and air tools effectively.
- Follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience and Qualifications:
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with various hand and power tools.
- Previous assembly experience.
- Experience with overhead cranes.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Background in auto mechanics, construction, or military is a plus.
