HYUR Manufacturing is seeking a 1st and 2nd Shift CNC Brake Press Operator for our partner in Cincinnati, OH!
The anticipated wage for this position starts at $23.00 – $27.00 plus a $4 shift diff. Hourly wages may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Summary of position:
As a CNC Brake Press Operator, you are responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brakes and other equipment to fabricate sheet metal, copper, Lexan, and Formex products according to detailed work orders and specifications.
Essential Functions:
- Start, stop, and set up press brake machines safely, and operate secondary machines as required.
- Perform all activities in a safe manner while utilizing required PPE.
- Set up and operate CNC press brake and related equipment to form sheet metal, following work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
- Verify that all parts meet specifications through standard inspection practices.
- Maintain machinery through Total Productive Maintenance practices and keep detailed documentation.
- Repair and rework sheet metal as needed
- Comply with company performance and conduct policies, maintain regular attendance, and adhere to 6S standards in all workstations.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of directly related experience or training.
- Set up and operate CNC machines effectively.
- Experience with Bystronic or Accur Press equipment.
- Basic knowledge of brake operations.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Use inspection tools and provide personal tools
- Knowledge of tool selection based on part specifications.
- Ability to calculate flat sizes using material bend allowances.
